Worshiping God in Spirit and Truth

Although most believers in the body of Christ might have felt like everything had been brought to a halt due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic, we want to remind you of the words of our Lord Jesus Christ: 

“Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and truth.”

The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things.”

 Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He” (John 4:21-26).”

By the words of our wonderful Lord and Savior, I encourage all believers that when one cannot meet as traditionally, or some might feel uncomfortable to meet, be sure you listen to the Holy Spirit and set a time to Worship God in your homes. Put on some worship music; hear the preaching of the Word of God, gather in your homes with family members who live in your home, read the Word of God, encourage one another to walk by faith and to be the light of the world wherever you might go daily. God sees the heart of every one of his children and knows how to lead us to continue to grow. Pray for the sick, speak the Word of Faith and the miracle-working power of God. Remember that the name of Jesus Christ is above any other name, including the Covid-19 virus, wars, divisions, fears, sicknesses, and the confusion that has gripped the world. 

Nevertheless, stand fast and hear the instruction of the Holy Spirit that we as believers have the privilege to listen to, which the world cannot hear. The Holy Spirit will never steer us the wrong way and will always speak the Word of God regardless of what the world is doing in fear. Remember to take communion in remembrance of Jesus Christ, who went to the Cross of Calvary, where He died becoming sin, was buried, and on the third day rose again by the power of the Holy Spirit, through which His merits now justify us. Remember that by the stripes of Jesus Christ, we are healed, and as children of God,  should any fall sick, we can believe God for supernatural healing as it is written in the Holy Bible, the Word of God (1Peter 2:24, Isaish 53:4-5, 2Corinthians 5:21, and James 5:14-20). This is the time for the Church to shine brightest and testify that Jesus Christ, our Savior, is Lord.

Having returned to our corporal gathering places, wherever that might be for you, a precious believer in Christ, remember that God is Spirit, and those who worship Him do it in Spirit and Truth. So keep the faith and do not do anything unless the Holy Spirit reveals it to you through the Word of God, as He is the only one who truly has our best interest at heart.
